On June 5, 2002 BUNGALO presented a panel discussion in the Berwyn
Public library's second floor
Community Room entitled "Journeys Through Time: Stories From
Our Personal and Shared Histories."
For one and one half hours seven members of Bungalo shared their
personal histories and along the
way found both common ground and differences of opinion. It was
a lively discussion and well
received by those in attendence. The above picture was taken after
the discussion and shows
six of the seven panelists.
During the month of June 2002 BUNGALO presented a display in the
Berwyn Public library's
2nd floor display case under the title "BUNGALO - The Books
We Love." The display was designed around
the library's traditional "June is Reading Month" display.
The case included favorite books
and reviews written by organization members, photos of those making
submissions, organizational
information, copy of the magazine "The Advocate" which
is currently available in the library due to
Bungalo's donated subscription and an article recently published
in the local newspaper, Berwyn Life.
